What We Collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible. We do not require accounts or passwords.

• Your question and hexagram — processed to generate your reading, retained briefly for delivery, then routinely deleted.
• Your email address — collected at checkout by our payment processor and used by us solely to deliver your purchased reading.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number.

AI Processing

Paid interpretations are generated with the assistance of a third-party AI language model. Your question and hexagram are transmitted to that provider for the sole purpose of producing your reading, subject to the provider's data-protection commitments.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you have expressly opted in.

Cookies

We use only essential, first-party storage needed for the Service to function (for example, remembering your reading while you complete checkout). No tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal information at any time by writing to oracle@theoracleofeast.com. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
